• 1990-1992: Five awards at the "German Youth Photo Price" (Three of the certificates were signed by Angela Merkel, who was "minister for women and the youth" back then).
• at the end of 2001: Degree M.A. in Social Anthropology and Economics.
• till the end of 2007: Employed at the Chamber of Commerce of Hamburg.
• since then: Freelance Photographer.
